The boost sensor has a rubber hose that clamps to a fitting that is inserted into the side of the air inlet pipe.
Can anyone tell me how this fitting is secured into the side of the air inlet pipe?
I suspect it is just pressed in with an o ring but wouldnt mind some clarification before I damage something.

The rubber tube is just held on with a spring sort of clamp.

There should be a pic on here somewhere.

Engine has been cleaned.

cheers fellas
im not talking about the rubber hose but the small 90degree bit of tube that it clamps to.
Boosted may be on the money with it being pressed in.Is it just a hollow bit of tube? Looks that way to me. I may need to pull it out to relocate my boost sensor when the intercooler finally gets finished and would like to know if ill be able to get it back in without damaging anything.

Oh that thing.

Ill have a look this arvo as mine is off. As my Nav is intercooled.

I am going back to bed.
