You can get K&N panel filters that will fit straight into the box. If you plan on driving in dusty areas then I'd go back to the stock paper filter. Pod filters are only designed to increase air flow and also increase the filtration surface area but doesn't really filter alot out.

Nice rig. Yeh I listen to all the above. Diffs don't just let go from a bit of beach driving. If it can't handle that then they have just mislead the entire country with their ad been the toughest tradie out there and able to tow a tank out of trouble!!

Has anyone ever checked their headlights after they've installed HIDs??? I've just looked at mine last week and decided to pull the HIDs out and replaced them with stock halogen globes. There is now a burnt mark across the reflector in each of the heahlights. Now the light is not bright anymore...

Nope...Im guessing its to stop water leaking in?? The only rubber seal is on the hard cover itself that seems to cover over the extrusion bar.

Done the EGR block today and finished off installing the hard cover after a couple of trips to the dealers for the missing parts.... Tomorrow will be replacing the balloon of a pipe between the turbo and intercooler with a hard pipe.

Right..... turns out I was short changed on hinge mounting plates and 2 ball pin mounts as well. Should've asked as I've no idea what were the required parts but that's the risk you take buying 2nd hand. Will be calling Nissan tomorrow for parts.....

These are the mounting brackets. The right one is how I'm assuming the pin is going to sit??

Just bought myself a 2nd hand Nissan hard cover. Can anyone post a photo of how the hinge is suppose to set up? I can't figure out how a bent pin is suppose to just hook into a hole on the bracket, seems a bit odd to me.

Just booked mine in, 4 weeks away and they reckon they need the car for most of the day.....
