It's easy enough to check the front struts if they are any good or not but how do you go about checking the rear ones. I have Tough Dogs all round with the rear being adjustables. My front ones need replacing but can't really really tell from driving around, if the rears are shot or not. How do I go about checking them?

Go round a corner with a bump in it. If you don't go off the road they are doing something! Seriously though just bring it to a suspension place and they can test them. Failing that if your happy with the ride they might be OK.

Go over a speed bump. If it bounces any more than 2 or 3 times they are generally worn out. Mine would take 4 or 5 bounces before it settled, before i replaced them. Now 1 bounce and it's all over...
