I updated my reverse lights from the 21W standard to 50W Halogen globes. Pretty much sure to be illegal, but i can't see shit out of the back at night reversing through the tinted glass of the canopy. I can't see it melting the plastic in the short time you use your reverse lights.

Ok so my placard in the glovebox (2004 d22 STR series 2) states 255/70 16" can i just replace this with a 265/70 16" sticker from a later model d22 since the car is the same just they upp'd the size. Is this legal? PS. Gary are they available as a spare part?
