no the pedal isnt sticky its like cruse control kicks in but have disconected that. at idle the revs just randomly increase . im thinking the pedal sends info to the throttle body and being electric that could be playing up ? i have no idea but its dangerous . i think i have a spare throttle...

Hope its not Timing chain AAARRRggg it just sounds like no oil in top end on start up But for peice of mind maybe i should do the timing chain. how much would the kit cost Old Tony ?

Hi Guys. need advice again Im having a little rattle noise in the top end of my d40 2.5 on start up it only does it for 5 seconds or so then goes away. I change oil every 5000ks with Penrite HPR 5-40 Now that the truck has 105.000 on it should i be using a thicker oil ??

D40 Dramaz Yep ! Changed the suction controll valve on the back of the pump and havent had any dramaz for weeks now . thanks for the info guys

yeah i have replaced the air flow meter with a new one so its got to be some thing different .
