STX 550 Chip upgrade

Hi, I'm brand new to the Forum. Has anyone chipped the 550 yet and if so how's it going? What's the fuel economy like?

hey rayden i put a uni chip in mine good power increase but i have done other mods as well which helped. i never relate better fuel economy with more power,who cares what it costs to run if it does what u want it to.

Hey Big Trev. I'm picking up my 550 in the morning. Does the chip reduce the off-the-line "lag" much? How do you recon the trans is taking the extra grunt any worries? What are the other mods have made? Which chip did you use BTW? Sorry, lots of questions, eh.
