Just another rattle on a D22, nissan adjusted my strikers on my 2011 Thai D22 and it barley changed... So I invested in a $2500 stereo, fixes all rattles.

I've had a heap of dirt bikes, this is my CBR track/street bike and my CRF450 that I have as a motard and dirt bike.

There is a totally different turbo setup, basically the turbo on the d40 is controlled electronically and provides more efficiant and boost earlier on through the rev range. EGR mod, Chip, Exhaust, boost and good tune should see the same power. The autos in the D40 also make it drive quicker.

The best sub to use without any trouble fitting is the Kicker Comp VT slimline. 12" at 400WRMS it is a great bit of gear and fits behind the seat in the far LH side...

I just thought the front being IFS with the already weak CVs wont handle it? I had a Blown VX Calais that I put a Mini spool in and being IRS always use to snap driveshafts.

Have a chat to Scotty on this forum, he makes great sliders to suit D22's and D40's. He can customize them to suit your needs i.e angle, checkerplate, ect.

Lifting the suspension will not make it handle better at all, the higher the centre of gravity the worse it will handle. But going from standard to aftermarket the suspension is better therefore handling better

Is it front or rear? I believe the ratios are different?

For the rear they are great. The front being IFS is not so great.

The YD25 in the D22 does not have a DPF. The HPR 5 is a good oil to use and depending where in Aus you live the 5w-40 is fine.

Xenon HID's are illegal, they are blinding to all road users, and the beam is scattered like crazy... But I just installed a 8000k Bi-Xenon kit in my D22 and love them :)
