I did much the same with a 1995 XJ Jeep Cherokee. Took out the clutch fan and put the largest thermo fan I could in. Wired into the aircon and auxiliary fans relay. I left the original radiator shroud on for better air flow. Huge difference...never again over heated and the aircon worked better...

Wow! I just downloaded Nogogo and its maps. Not as sophisticated as Oziexplorer but as good as memory map. The maps are surprizinglt detailed picking up tracks you would be hard pressed to find elsewhere. Not bad for a freebee.

Hi Monster Mash, check where the snorkel attaches to the air filter box. There is a small notch in the lip on the box. I sealed mine with tape and silicon.
