Getting a winch for my d40 to bolt up to my arb winch bar.
IM looking at tbe warn tabor 10000lb or a kingone 9500lb or the mean mother 9500lb??? What brand is better and y?

not saying warn are no good, but they arent cheap. have heard of warn winches failing and the cheaper brands failing. all of em need some maintenance

i have a runva 11xp - $650 delivered with dyneema, best bang for buck winch i could find and has great warranty.

i got the black edition with red dyneema - looks good as.

the only extra i put on was an isolation switch on the bull bar. dont know how many of them wireless remotes use the same frequency. didnt want my winch starting up while it was hooked onto the bullbar or the front tow points. dont think that would end well. i got the black one as well

yeah i think an isolation point is a must have, i put mine under the bonnet to stop curious hands from messing with it.
