OK, My weekend gets shitier by the minute............. first the oil smell which i still cant find, then the winch bar cracked.......NOW the frigin new winch,... i pulled the gearbox of to rotate so it will fit into my bar, when i pulled it of bits of oring and metal fell out,........
the metal turned out to be broken spring washerswhich i replaced with new ones, and yep i found bits of oring throughout the box, seemed the lazy prick who built it didnt fit it properlyand still just bolted it together cutting the oring into about 8 bits...
