pulled the front off my zd30 turbo to check the slop in the bearings, there is a bit of play but how much is too much? it spins ok and there doesnt seem to be any rub marks on the housing. when cold it whines a bit till it warms up then it seems to go away. i have a 3inch taipan exhaust and chip and the car is only 85000 kms old
im going on a 2 week trip in may so i dont really want to have it let go whilst im in the middle of no where, my girlfriend wouldnt be too happy haha
i have read a heap of threads on turbo problems on here but cant remember anyone saying what amount of play in the bearings is acceptable (if any)
