did your 06 have a DPF?
and don't plastidip your sports bar, i did mine and you can scratch it off with your finger nail!, and if you rub it, it just rolls off

I got my sports bar powder coated, much more durable and its not that expensive anyway.. I think it cost me $150 all up to get mine done in a gloss black, just another option instead of plasti dip

Not sure if it had a DPF as i bought from original owner. Why does your Plastidip do that? Mines as tough as nails. Has copped branches scratching at it and everything and still perfect. I did about 7 coats though over a few days.

Thanks bud! I reckon the bar makes the car. Planning a few overnighters up Dargo / Omeo way with the old man for the new year so hopefully the bar cops a few scratches and bumps.

Also looking into a V6 R200 front diff for it too. I reckon this front diff will pop soon enough

yeah, i have only 3 coats, and when the skin breaks it peels away as soon as you touch it

what brand of dump pipe did you get, as did you get a 3" ?

Whack 4 or 5 more coats on it mate, its awesome flexible stuff when its layered on well. Just make sure you dont rush it. Do it over 2 days so it has time to set. Also, i roughened up the surface with 800 grit sandpaper so it had something to grip to (even though it says no prep necessary). Came up a pearler.

I got the 3" dump made by my exhaust bloke. Most good exhaust joints can do them. Costs sweet f/a.

And heres a pic of the Nav from the day i got it with the canopy and how it looks now. She's come a long way.

Fire extinguisher mounted out of the way but in easy reach as i didnt want it up front beside my knee as i did in my last ute and it got annoying.

Cut and massaged the inner guards inwards a bit to cut out the minor scrubbing i had with my 33's. Nice and tidy now and no more scrubbing.
