Ok it's decided, in the next few weeks the Nav is getting plastidipped side mirrors, sportsbar and black sunraysia's. Still undecided about nudgebar. Better order some more plastidip tomorrow....

hahaha looks like i have gotten a few people hooked haha

Yeah ya bastard! Haha!! I had never heard of Plastidip until i saw your posts. Its ****ing fantastic stuff. Super strong / durable too.

Considering getting rid of the nudgebar too. Thought about plastidipping it but it might look a bit strange.

hahaha yeah its good gear..

Good move mate, get a real bullbar ;) cant wait for my xrox to be finished haha

Nah not overly interested in a bullbar. No need just yet to be honest. Mine is 70% Tonka truck, 30% 4x4. When i do a bit more 4x4ing, then i'll look into it.

One mirror plastidipped. Much better than chrome

Just auto paint? I dont care how strong the company claims their paint is, it still chips over time and looks crap.

Plastidip is a flexible rubber coating. It actually feels like rubber when it cured to. Dug a fingernail into it and scratched back and forth. Not even a mark was left. From the reviews i have read on forums, this stuff might only need a touch up every 4 or so years.

I personally wouldnt even use caliper paint on mirrors, grille etc. Still scratches and chips too easy.

Yeah fair call dude. Mine see's SOME offroading / camping, but more daily driving. I use mine to cart shit around for work and i cart my dirtbike around.

Few more pics

Muffler eliminator pipe :) about to fit it up. Will have a pipe with a bend made up eventually to dump the exhaust out the side somewhere possibly.

This sits a bees dick past the back of the cabin just before the rear diff. But the pipe can be fitted with the original exhaust rear so the fumes dump downwards. So still nice and legal. Might give it a coat of high temp black before i fit it up

Pipe fitted. Little bit of arsing around on the joints to make them fit snug. Now im gonna angle grind off the part of the pipe after the muffler on the factory exhaust and fit that up to the arse end of the new pipe so it dumps behind the rear diff so it's legal.

Then to take it off in one piece and give it a few coats of high temp black.
