Hey guys,

just installed catch can and now iv lost a little bit of power....is this normal??

just googled and i think i might have a air leak...

The PCV doesn't go on the pressure side so it's not a boost leak. A catch can is simply something that is in the PCV line and collects the oil out of the PCV gas stream, returning the remaining gas (which is exhaust gas) to the air intake just like it did before. You could restore the PCV system to its previous state and see - I don't think it'll make a difference.

So the catch can doesn't really make a lot of difference to the engine's operation. I'd bet on an air leak on the pressure side - or the vacuum hose on the turbo actuator has started to let go.
 
Yep, as usual OT is onto it, probably something you disturbed while installing the catch can. Check the vacuum hose on top of the turbo first.
 
yep right as always

deteriorated hoses..just dissolved in my hands...once fixed power was back baby!!!

the 2 tiny hoses in the picture were buggered
