So my d22 just failed it's roadworthiness test due to smoke out the exhaust. Took it to a garage to see what they thought and had a look at the engine bay and saw an oily turbo. Reckoned it might be sending oil into the engine and thus smoke. Anyhow once I got home I decided to clean it up and investigate. Definitely oil inside the turbo but the oil seems to be coming from the breather tube. Think its dripped out of the intake hosing onto the turbo. Not really losing much oil, haven't had to top it up at all since I last changed it. I'm installing a catch can tomorrow and going to drive it around for a while and check for leaks again. Reckon that'll solve my problem? I'd love to clean out the intake manifold too as it looks disgusting inside but seems a bit of a pain to remove what with fuel lines in the way ect.
