Alternator drive pulley

G'day guys just wondering if anyone can advise the cheapest fix for a drive clutch on the front of the alternator. I initially thought it would be a simple bearing replacement however Nissan tell me it is sold as a complete drive pulley for about $500! I got a price an an aftermarket alternator for $400. Not sure if anyone has a better solution in replacing the part.

I got my replacement pulley from repco. Cant remember the exact price but it was in the area of $100 to $150 off memory.

I replaced mine last month, try Precision Engineering, Notting Hill, Vic.

order online. $94 delivered for alternator over run pulley. note there are 2 types available so check first. either 17mm hex or 31 spline.

also suggest replace the idler pulley while your at it $21.07
