Windscreen washer bottle

Hi All
had a search on here and also thru the mongrel workshop manual but couldn't find an answer.
I need to remove the washer bottle. Can't see it comes out underneath, can I assume I have to remove the headlight unit. Seems to be the only way to do it.

looks like you do if you want to replace complete unit,, i have to do mine , i may try to see if bottle seperates from filler neck by undoing the bottom bolt,and only fitting tank.. $63 just bought one here https://au.banggood.com/Car-Windscr...-Plug-New-For-Nissan-Navara-D22-Ute-1997-2012

i can't recall if it comes out up through the head light or drop down under the guard.

however i would not bother with factory replacement. i would make a bottle fit somewhere else.

looks like i may need to remove plastic grill then headlight on my 1998 d22

Thanks for the replies but I got it done.
Grill off
Headlight unit out
Remove bottle neck
Remove rubber hose and plug from bottle
Remove 3 small bolts from bottle and it will drop out underneath

The hardest bit was removing the plug from the little pump and make sure you have a good offsider who can hand you tools without crawling underneath with you and trying to lick your face
