Wind deflectors

Hi all,

Couldn't find much on them so though I'd make a thread.

I have the regular prorack roof racks (squarish ones) not the fancy aerodynamic ones, the wind resistance noise is driving me nuts. Just want to see who has wind defelctors and where you bought them or if you made your own. Pictures are a plus!

I made mine from steel sheet, bent it at a local. Mob for $20 I'll put a pic up when I find one

Maybe find some ally pipe that is about the same diameter as the height of the bars and then cut the pipe in half and mount on the front or the bars.

Plastic hose/tube split down the length and cut out around the rack legs.
Slip it over the square rail and add a couple of UV proof cable ties - Done.

Also makes a rub free surface for what ever foes on rack.

You could use poly pipe or clear plastic hose.

I bought aerodynamic foam tube things to put on but still thinking of doing something like Mike has above.
