Most of the tools I have are in imperial, I've got bugger all in metric. I'm gunna make up a basic tool kit to carry in my old girl, a 2003 STR jap built Nav with the ZD30 DI motor.
so here's my question and it's probably a dumb one, are all the nuts and bolts in metric on that model ?
cheers

Metric,

My imperial scanners and sockets don't see much action these days, and I don't think I've opened up my whitworth socket set in years

Whitworth LOL ..... thats a bad joke right ???

I had a similar chart to this in my old shed ...

Many thanks from my bank account Haha I gotta go buy metric now.
What suggestions do ya's have for a range of metric tools to carry or would I just be better off getting a full set of sockets, open & ring spanners.
I always carry a Korean tool set, a gympie and big shifter LOL

I highly recommend the repco socket sets. Have their 1/4 and 1/2 inch set. Handy wobble extensions. Really nice ratchets. More sizes than most sets. And a metal case with some real nice hard closed cell foam that doesn't crack like all the plastic cases now.
