Hey guys,
Thanks for letting me into the group, I hope I can help others as I try and diagnose any issues I have with my truck. And thanks in advance for any help.
What has brought me here is:
Hey guys,
My 2011 d40 Navara started losing power and pumping black smoke primarily going up hills. I blanked EGU which stopped the constant smoke on acceleration, however, will still loose power and blow smoke between 1 and 2000 revs going up hill. If I drop back gear manually it will take off but blow fault and go into limp mode as it drops back a gear from over 3000 revs to be reset after turning off and on again.
Additionally, after driving around it will sometimes stop blowing smoke and just lose all power when accelerating until again I turn ignition on and off at lights.
I am going to clean MAF censer to see if this fixes it.
My next step will be to replace boot control valve.
Anyone had similar issues and perhaps can give me a better order to diagnose what the issue might be?
