TD27 turbo on QD32....too small?

Hi guys,trawled through most of the old posts about turboing a QD32 Navara but can't find any thoughts on how a TD27 turbo would go on a QD32
Would it be too small,I am after off idle boost rather than top end
Not looking for a rocket ship but I live in a very hilly part of Tasmania and the NA QD32 struggles a bit going up them
I can get hold of a standard Terrano turbo and manifold so wondered if this would suit my needs

Couldn't find any info on using the TD27 turbo,plenty on using the manifold but with another sized turbo.
Was wondering how soon it would spool up and help torque off idle and whether it would be restrictive top end revs wise.
Any input appreciated.
