hey im from down here in tassie and we have had a bit of snow over the last couple of days. im planning on doing a trip up to the lakes on sunday. just wondering is there realy any tips on wat to do about tyres? i dont have chains. do u let your tyres down?

Sounds like fun! let us know how it goes.
Sorry cant answer your question im yet to snow drive myself.
Cheers Adam

was up there today getting wood ended up leaving my trailer there snow was 4 inches deep don't normally drop the tyre pressures down because i'm allways in a hurry but it would be recomended, just maintain a steady speed and don't leave it to late stop because if you have abs it will take longer and you should be fine.

ye a hole group of us r planning to go up tomorrow. hopefully the roads arnt closed. ive been up there a couple of times b4 in the snow but i was mainly asking is it recommended to let ur tyres down if u dont have chains
