Sheepyard flat?

Hi guys,
With an improved weather forecast for upcoming weekend thought I might take a trip up to Howqua Valley for a bit of a tour around the Cattleman's huts etc.

Intending to camp at Sheepyard Flat after a visit to Craigs Hut.
Any suggestions re state of tracks and places to avoid after recent heavy rains as I drive a standard D40 without snorkel diff breathers etc. Fording streams will be off the agenda. Have Rooftop " bush huts around Mansfield" map.
Complete novice in regard to 4wding.
Keen to hear your advice.

I think the tracks up there are still closed due to the weather.We have a weekend camping trip organised this weekend at Kurth Kiln national park.Look under VNOG trip this week end

Welcome to the forum yoyoman,if you decide not to join us at kirth kiln,check the parks vic website for track closure information in the alpine national park.
Alot of tracks aren't opening until late december.
Great touring in the area when it's completely open.
