Hi guys

A mate of mine was talking to me about the peak torque efficiency of his Rodeo and how he uses that to get the best fuel economy he possibly can. I have a 2006 D22 STR 3.0TD, does anyone know what the peak torque efficiency is? I have looked through the manual to see if it says anything there but for the life of me I drew a blank. As I live in the Kimberley, which means that if you want to go anywhere you are looking at a few hundred kms to the nearest town, the better the fuel economy the better.

Cheers for any help or ideas

Max torque comes on a 2000rpm.

I have noticed with mine that if I keep the boost on around 5psi, it goes better on fuel.

However the ZD's dont change that much in general, consumption wise.

Only ever seen mine over 11L/100km's once. That was towing a EH Holden on a over engineered trailer.
