Maxxis AT 980 Tyres

Has anyone tried these tyre, Im have to replace the tyres on my D22 ZD30 I dont go off roading but do tow a 2T caravan and currently have BFG AT's which are a great tyre but getting expensive so just looking at alternatives.

I have Hankook RF10 ATm's 265/75/16. A great tyre and seem to be wearing well. Cost $220 a corner fitted. I had Pirelli Scorpion ATR's before that which were great on the tarmac, wore well 70k + but I wanted something a bit stronger in the sidewalls and more aggressive. The Pirelli's were a lot more expensive too.

Thanks Glennm I'll look at them as well. Do the Hankook have strong side walls.

I made sure they sourced the light truck version which has more sidewall plies i believe. They look and feel much stronger than the pirellis.
