Loss of power after EGR Blank

Hi Guys,

Has anyone with a ZD30 lost power after performing the EGR blank and swirl mod?

I did the mod last weekend and ever since I can barely hit 110 km/h on the freeway in 5th anymore, I need to drop back and rev the tits out of the thing in 4th.

I know it's going to be healthier for the engine to leave it blanked but considering I'm on the freeway every day it's not really viable if i can't make the speed limit.

Anyone else had similar issues?

It should go a touch better than than stock. Maybe double check you have plumbed the tubes the right way and unplugged the right plug.

make sure have done the butterfly mod.
then if still the same, unblock the egr. leave the egr butterfly mod done as that will reduce egr. some overseas models don't actually have the egr butterfly.

there is a theory that with poor injection (eithe injectors or pump) that it needs the heat of the egr to burn well.
