Leather boot over auto shifter

Was thinking about trying to put a leather boot over the auto shifter on my 2013 D40 nav!! Like the Amarok, Ranger etc
Has anyone attempted this??

Well, looks like I must be the first. So I have almost completed this job, I used a shifter and boot from a ZF 6 speed from the territory. Think it came up pretty good

Nah was pretty straight forward, bit of cutting and filing that's about it really.
