Knock from under front end during hot weather

spent last few weeks in melbourne, and noticed during the few 30+ days, i get a knock/thud from underneath front end everytime i stop and sometime during take off. only during hot days, definitely doesnt occur during cooler days.
could this be shocks getting too hot or something?? i got a new set of OME shocks after my iron man ones got absolutely rooted on the trip down from g. coast. the bloke that fitted them for me said i'll be in trouble due to the UCA lift as in theyre short or something.

had a good luck underneath and cannot notice anything loose or odd looking...
ideas ??? im driving back north monday so dont want any nasty surpries on the hume or something

Do a search for body mounts. Sounds like you had the same issue as many of us.
