Icom problem

Hi all,
I have an Icom IC-400pro and the bloody thing turns itself off after a few hours of use. It is a pain in the ass because if it turns off when I'm not in the car and I don't realise I am without a UHF. It was all installed before I got the car but I think it is wired directly to the battery rather than the ignition because it stays on after I turn the car off. However even when I am in the car with the engine on it will still turn off.
I don't think it is a fault, more likely just some powersaving technique but I hate it. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I tried reading the manual but could find nothing referencing it. Please help before I chuck it out the window!

Let me know when, I'll try and catch it!.

If all else fails you could try ringing ICOM, as your probably right just a power save mode that needs turned off.

It has auto power off after 2 hours,it is on page 29 of the online manuel.
