GU air box

Hi all put a gu air in on the weekend not that hard to do just a bit of pannel beating to the gard and cut the inner gard

yeah its worth it the ute goes better now more responsive in take off and genneal drivein ive just got to connected the snorkle to the airbox. If you are thinking bout doing this mod it worth the effeit. you can also here the turbo spooling up and working better with the better air flow

What made you think of this mod? i've not heard of it before. is the filter physically bigger? couldn't you just put a K&N or similar into the standard air box for the same effect?

why not put in the landcruiser air box?
no pannel beating and no cutting..

i all ready had the gu air box in the shed of my patrol its a bigger air cleaner aswell.
I seen some one else do it on this from so i thought id give it a go The standard navara air box is very restictive to many bends and tight courns the gu box is bigger with only one bend and there 3.5 inch in and 3inch out air flow.

was it easy to hook up the snorkel?wouldnt mind giving this a go,seems like a fairly simple mod.

yeah its an easy mod to do to hock up to the snorkle i used a 3.5inch to 3 inch rejoucer and you need to cut some steel out of the side of the gard a dn trim back to snorkle pipe so it all lines up
