H guys just wondering how hard is it to change the front crank seal iv been quoted from $600-$900 to do and the seal is only $20 just wanted to know if there's a how to on here couldn't find any think thanks for the help

That's the important bit, keeping it even. I'm doing the timing seal on my kids diesel rodeo, but the case is on the bench while I put new timing gears in, kids what would we do without them:sarcastic:

Much easier on a bench without the crankshaft poking through, hahahaha. A bit of wood is usually good for not damaging the seal while you tap it in with a hammer. Just go slowly around the edge until it is all the way in...

For my sons rodeo it was about $65 at holden or $25 for a high temp seal from the local bearing supplies.
