EGT with obd2

Hey guys been using my obd2 device to check up on things and i recently installed a chip and wanted to look at my egts and i assumed that because there is a probe just after the turbo i would be able to read it but it appears not. should i use a different program on my laptop and phone? or can you not read egts that way?

No you can't as it's not an egt sensor it's an oxygen sensor. To get an egt reading you need to fit a Pyro gauge, there are quite a few different brands and types to choose from but the factory ecu doesn't have an egt function
