Hey mate not sure if you've bought one yet or not.. I got one approx 1 year ago and its been good, it doesn't put out full volt or amps until higher revs though - not a problem just something I noticed

This is the same with all altnerators, the origianl ZD30 alt has a 60A rating so its probs putting out 10A if your lucky at idle, but upgrading to a 100amp one your output at lower levels will increase proportionally, or so the theory goes.

I'm buying a 100amp ebay alternator for $185. Any info on these, have you bought one?

Mate a guy is selling these

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/261221329974?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
5year warranty 90amp, no clutch pulley incl. $188

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Alternat...=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cd3ca1df7
5 year warranty 100amp, clutch pulley included $233 (He has sold 30 of them, good sign, he has no negative feedback on these alternators that he has sold)

The one you are looking at is cheaper, I assume this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/271488596437?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
1 year warranty, 100amp, clutch pulley included $185

Yeah the $185 one is cheap, it's up to you whether you want some extra warrant, if it were me Id pay $233 and get 5 years warranty on it.

So just curious, does the ZD30 Navara have a clutch or a clutchless alternator?
