D22 with D40 Chip

Hi all, possible a stupid question...

Just bought a new D22 STR, a mate of mine has a 2.5l Turbo Diesel D40 and has offered me his computer chip. Is it at all possible for the two to be interchanged, and if so, would it hinder my "new car warranty"

Chipit chip at all? If so then yes...just need the right tune to flash.

If it's a chip it chip then yes. As Camo has mentioned you will need the correct flash software before starting your car.

Other brands maybe not
