New D40 owner - how do I determine what engine I have?

Hi All,

I purchased a 2014 Navara this week, and I've been struggling to work out how to determine exactly what engine it has. Putting the rego plate into supercheaps website, I get 2 possible matches being:

1. NISSAN NAVARA RX, ST-X Auto or Manual D40 CVND40 12/2005~04/2015 4 Door Utility 4WD DIESEL 2.5 litre, YD25DDTI I4 16v DOHC I/C Turbo CRD {126kW}

2. NISSAN NAVARA ST, ST-X Auto or Manual D40 CVND40 01/2010~04/2015 4 Door Utility 4WD DIESEL 2.5 litre, YD25DDTI I4 16v DOHC I/C Turbo CRD {140kW}

I've managed to determine that mine was made in spain from the VIN, but beyond that I've not been able to find anything useful. I did a PPSR check, and that tells me nothing helpful either. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to determine which engine I have?

Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Im going to suggest it is number 2.
But if you throw up some photos, it'll help determine which one it is.

Thanks for the reply. I'll take some pictures of the engine a bit later today. Is there anything specific I should include in the photos?

One of the passenger side of the engine. Around where the turbo sits.
It being a 2014 Spain-VSK leads me to think it'll be the 140kw - both are still the YD25 - lots of the same gear
