Hi,

This may be a bit of the dumb/silly question but, I'm looking at buying the attached rear bar from marketplace. However, the guy has a 3L I own a 2.5 was just wondering is there are any tub size differences or in general if that rear bar would fit.
Also, looking towards getting some 32s. I have a 2inch sus lift so wanna play it safe by only running 32s. What do you guys recommend with offset and rims etc? Probably going for 265/75/R16 Geolandar X-AT G016 if anyone is familiar with them just any cheapish steely to be honest - sunrayrasia?

If anyone is interested attached a video of my rig slowly getting there wanting to do wheels, exhaust then snorkel. Might keep you guys posted or any other questions I have
Have only added bullbar, spotties, lift and awning since I brought it everything else is stock I believe.
Cheers fellas,
Rhys

The 2008 2.5 tub is the same as the 3L tub. Not sure about 2009. From 2010 onwards they're definitely marginally longer. Maybe post a pic of your tailgate.

I've been running 265/75/R16's for just over 2 years; the positives are that they lift the Ute a fraction & they do look better. On the downside, they make it even slower taking off from a standing start & they do cause fuel consumption to increase.

16x8 or 16x7, +20 offset steel wheels. 265/75/R16 are a good fit on these utes.
as far as i know the 2.5l tubs are 100mm longer than the 3.0l tubs, be careful. just ask the bloke to measure his tub.
