d22 gear box

I was just under my ute today and I was just checking if my uni joints r ok.
I was checking the first uni coming out of the gear box and I notiest a little play but it wasn't they uni its like the out put shaft of the gear box has play. im just wondering if this is normal or if a bearing has shit it self. I would be great if someone could go and check theres

A little bit of play is normal, the drive shaft just slides, typically has a little bit of play.
