Hi guys so I've thought about building a drawer system for a while and have been looking at all the different materials available And what would best suit m needs, at the moment I done have a canopy and I don't plan in buying one anytime soon, I am a plumber so I will also require toolbox space as well, here's what I've come up with.
Aluminium 25mmx25mm x 1.2mm - $15 per 1.8m

The joiners you will need are $2 a pop

plate angle To corner off the front over the marine carpet

Aluminium sheeting to fill the drawers

Exterior ply, 1200x600 sheets to sit on top of the framework and on the face of the drawers

Drawer slides

The toolboxes i will be mounting on either side

With the drawer system taking up the full base of the try and sitting just above the wheel arches I'm thinking this will be sturdy enough to mount a rhino toolbox on either side (linked above) they are 1100 L 600w W and 485 Hthis will leave arround 400mm space in front of the tool boxes and 200mm~ inbetween them so to utilise the space at the front I will mount a jerrycan in front of either toolbox and the space inbetween can store a hi lift jack, shovel and whatever else there, next up will be the building photos and progress ect. Wish me luck
