Creaking sound

Gday,
Have a 4x4 St-R 2006. Noticed recently when i turn it on full lock i experience an awful creaking 'metal on metal' sound.
Just curious as what is going on.?
Suspect it is my steering stops and/or torsion bars..
Any help would be much appreciated.

Probably worn steering stop caps - you can get new caps from Nissan - you need 4 and they are under $3-00 each. Easy to fit.

I think Navaras need a little notice on the sun visor explaining that noise.

The gentleman i bought my navara said all navara 4x4's do it even the new ones.. its nothing bad.. apparently.. i cant remember what he said it was because. but he said its not bad.

It should be steering stops, have the same noise on mine. Getting it done on wednesday, $50 all up
