I just got the steering rod replaced that runs from the column to the rack. As I was driving home I notice the air bag warning light was on. So I didn't think to much of it and thought I'll look it up on here to see how to reset it. I found a thread on it and read if the horns not working and the cruise control, then it's the clock spring. So I check and they aren't working. Now what I want to know is, could the mechanics that did the steering rod cause it to stuff up? like I said it was all working fine before I got the arm replaced. Or is it just a coincidence that it just stuffed up at the same time? Also how hard is it to change?
