Hi there. I just bought my self a 2001 d22. 1,5 cab or what i can call it. And i have some questions :

1: how hard is it to take og the cab? (Want to remove the rust on the entire frame (no holes)

2: my bed/tub is in really bad condition
Can i use a bed from newer model? D40?


And the last one. Does the "front" (lights etc) from a 2004 fit on my pre facelift (2001)?

depends on what you call difficult.
the cabs only held in by a few main bolts, but theres brake lines, clutch line, water lines and electric plugs to undo.

D40 tub will not bolt on. find another D22 one or a flat deck.

i don't think the lights will swap over. guards, front grill etc are different. thats not without checking the mounts are different. also theres two different lights for the early ones. they had the square headlights, then went to a sloping square headlight for some models. thats before the big 2004 facelift.
