2.5 d22 3 inch exhaust question

I have ordered my 3inch exhaust for my 2.5 d22 about 2 months ago and i have the rest of the system but waiting on the dump pipe. the excuse i am getting is that the dump pipe hits the firewall and they trying to fix it. is this true? can anyone with a 2.5 d22 with a 3 inch dump confirm this?

Good clearance on my Taipan system.
Only issue I had was on the underside. Needed to adjust to get clearnances on chassis.
Firewall was no problem.

Vave, are you able to put a pic up of your dump pipe so that i can see how much room you have between it and the firewall?

Not a real good photo due to light.
i have around 12-15mm of gap between firewall and dump pipe.

Ok then. i found out why a 3 inch wont fit my car and it is because it is a diff turbo because it is a thai model. so i have to go 2.75 or 2.5 to 3 inches. you have got a lot more space than what i have

Interesting.. The 3inch mandrel bent wasnt much bigger than the stock.
