Whats involved on fitting a sports bar to an rx model? just drilling the bolt holes?

Ive been reading through all these posts and am still confused as to what offset the Rx offset has, any insight to this would be a great help and to know what size/offset sunraysias you guys are running on thai built 2010 rx's
