Cheers John I'll be fitting the 275 tyres and they should be ok. I had 265 tyres last time and no scrubbing on the guards at full lock. I have seen a couple of cars at the dealer with 285 tyres plus a lift kit but he did have flares as they stuck out the guards a little bit. I'll give some feed...

I have the STX and I'm keeping the standard rims. I want to fit some 275.65.18 so just wondering if they will rub on full lock. I have the OME 2" lift so any comments by someone who has fitted this size tyre please.

Took my 2011 D40 STX in for its 70 thou service and walked out with a new NP300 STX. D40 has served me well with no issues and I got $30 thou trade in so I thought bugger it I'll get a new car. She is still at the dealers waiting for ARB underbody protection and tow lugs plus 4mm spray on tub...

I have just fitted the Geolander ATR on my D40 and they are quiet on the road and handle great off road. 265/65R17. I have had Coopers and no dramas with those but hopeless in the wet. Done 3000k on them and i reckon so far so good.

Just had my 2011 Auto STX serviced last week and i told them that sometimes when i go to over take another car it won't rev past 3000rpm or change down or up gears it just sits at 3000rpm. If i slow down and drive really slow it will change gears and drive as normal but putting your foot down...

Cheers for the info Tony. I do a little beach fishing but always clean the car as soon as I get home so maybe a little green death on the sensor plug as I do wash the engine to get the sand off everything. I will try and get the sensor replaced next time it happens or replace the turbo actuator...

My July 2011 STX diesel has lost power 4 or 5 times in 20,000 k's. seems to be when I go to over take or come out of a corner and give the car 3/4 throttle. I just stop the car and then re start and all is fine for either months or days. Car had it's service today and it had code P0211 & P0238...

Not too sure if it is for models before Jan 2010 but it wouldn't surprise me if it it was. Done another 400k and it hasn't done it again so hopefully it is all done and dusted.

Running 6000k HID headlight kit in mine and it's good on low beam but on high beam the light is everywhere. Had this kit on my D22 and it was better on it as the headlight reflectors are better i reckon. Highbeam no drama's now as lightforce XGT 55w HID pencil beams on the bottom and 70w HID...

Driving back from Kalbarrie and i go to overtake a car and the car just lost power and would not rev above 3000 rpm no black or white smoke coming out of exhaust just bugger all power. No codes on the dash and it didn't go into limp mode but would not rev past 3000 rpm. Call into Nissan dealer...

After 7 weeks on order the ARB bullbar is finally on the car along with the Lightforce 55w pencil beam spots. These lights will toast bread i reckon at 600 meters :devil: The bar looks great and i'm glad i got it painted white. Just need to get rid of the factory tyres and put some Cooper tyres...
