hi all, looking at putting a chev l98 engine into my D40, looked everywhere and cant find much info in conversions. anyone done a v8 conversion? is there a kit?

Hi all, had my d40 for 3 years, had a LPG kit installed which puts gas before the turbo to give massive power increase, works real good, love it to bits, but small issue is when holding throttle flat for short while, (over taking cars) the power cuts out, and i have to take foot off then back...

100% on a 3 inch exhaust from turbo housing to tip. Block EGR, Gas/Diesel, Chip and K&N filter. Ive done all this, im 100% happy. Snorkel does nothing for performance and fuel.

09 d40 king cab auto, seems to have a mind of its own! Every now it turns the low beam lights on without the switch being on and the indercators dont work, I shut the car down and start again it comes good... Is it trying to tell me something?

Gday folks, ive got a d40 with a turbo timer fitted, works fine, but when the timer is timing down, i cant lock any doors untill its shut the engine off. must have stuffed up a wire somewhere?

Gday blokes, I put a morepower chip in my d40 auto. Sensational power upgrade, very little extra fuel used, I would recommend doing this along with an exhaust mod. Pointless chipping them until you get a 3 inch exhaust to reeve all the benifits.

Yeah, buy some ear plugs, there loud and drone heaps. You need 3 inch straight through resinators. I put a 3 inch from turbo all the way, no dpf, no mufflers, no cats, I went around the block and went back for some mufflers. You will love the extra fuel acconomy and power. Make sure you...
