Hi, I have an oil leak that appears to be coming from the rear main seal.
I read that a catch Can is the likely cause.
I have been draining the can regularly however I haven't checked the filter which was quite black.
Is the leak engine oil or trans oil?
How long can I drive around? Is it a matter of checking the oil level until it's repaired?
