Hi guys, I have a 1995 Pathfinder (WNYD21) or Terrano which came with the Z24 carb engine. Did a swap to a TD27T (which I am in the process of rebuilding it). I know its not the same truck as your but I am sure you can help me.
Gear box fitted Ok, but I dont know if the gear ratios between for these 2 engines were the same. I am having some overheating problems and dont know if the difference in gear ratios could be part of the problem. Both engines have almost the same power.
Would a KA24 or KA24DE fit back into my Pathy using the original gear box?
I can buy any of these two but dont know what would be better, rebuild the TD27T or buy any of these used petrol engines.
