Possible broken CV?

I have found that when im climbing up a sand hill there isn't any sounds but when It gets bogged half way up and the front wheel spins quickly there is a clicking noise but only does it when it gets bogged down when its loaded up and pulling its fine does anyone no what it could be?

Usually your front diff (Open type) will try to move power to the side with the least traction, when it changes sides it makes a clicking noise...you should allways have at least one front wheel spinning when in 4wd mode.

if your CVs broken you should be able to see it moving on the diff side and not on the hub side. you can only really catch this in a bog or with a video recorder.
