Overheating problem

Righto. That came off when I got a new airbox. The Nav was running fine for years without it.

I'm not sure what to look at next. Any thoughts?

Another day, another question.

I've managed to figure most things out and get the Nav running again, but I have a knock / click sound I can't figure out.

Does anyone have an idea what this could be?

i would pop the belt off and then run it again. common to get alternator clutch failure or idler bearing failure. also when you take the belt off (by moving the damper) you can tell if the damper has seized or not.

Thanks @tweak'e. I've already tried that. I had the drive belt and fan off. Same noise. It is a bit hard to tell, but seems to be coming from intake side. Could a noise like this be from incorrect install of something like an injector seal?
