Not sure how deadicated he is so ill let you know. Nav 22 has a 2004 TD STR.

No mods but we are both looking at lift kits and ATR wheels and tyres. Maybe installing them ourselves if we grow some nuts. Snorkles are on the cards as well.

You don't need to grow nuts to do work yourself, you'll find they just accumulate the more jobs you do yourself. Nuts, bolts, screws, washers, it's not a DIY project unless you end up with something spare.
